For years, the media, activists, and radical organizations told Americans to stay silent while children were pushed toward irreversible medical procedures in the name of ideology.
Today, Texas pushed back.
Attorney General Ken Paxton secured a historic settlement holding Texas Children’s Hospital accountable, ending these interventions for minors, securing a $10 million settlement, and establishing the nation’s first-ever detransition clinic to help those harmed.
This is about protecting children. This is about medical accountability. This is about having the courage to stand for truth even when it’s unpopular with the political establishment. Texas Republicans will never apologize for fighting to protect kids.
