Replacing Rachel Weisz as Evie in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor just never clicked. A huge part of why the first two movies worked was the energy Weisz brought to the character, so the recast made the whole dynamic feel off immediately.

Netherrealm has become unrecognizable pander fest with their MK1 bullshit and their MK remakes are a spitting mirror image of their Warner Brother's influenced "tolerance quotas". Mortal Kombat was used to be a boy's brand with hot, badass chicks. I guess feminism and diversity got to it too.
