@mistereatgalway Stuffed cows and lamb hearts. Pheasants hanging outside the back door by the neck until they fell away and then boiled until grey🤢Fried herrings with lots of bread to help swallow the bones..tasty stuff 🤣

Last call for the foods that made us. Manuscript of my new book is due in end of this month. Working title 'An Irish Food story'. What foods do you think should be in it? I have many already from Angel delight and findus crispy pancakes to Michaelmas goose and soda bread.

So I wouldn't normally do this, but I got this "toastie" today @ulstermuseum. £4.95 and it was grim. This is what happens when you expect to take 15 - 25% of the turnover from your operator. You get sh*t food. What is worse is that this is what tourists and visitors get 😳

Winning business person of the year from @GalwayChamber demonstrates not only the value of chefs to our society but also that the meaning of being a chef is much broader than we imagine. @Psychobiotic Better still (IMO)add milk kefir and allow it to ferment for 2 days, chill. When serving drizzle with olive oil, add a little lemon zest and grated garlic.... trust me it's deeeelish 😁
