@jewishcouncilAU These people do NOT represent Jews. We do not want them speaking on our behalf. Unlike 99% of Jews they abhor Israel and Zionism. Every action they take under their banner of deceit promotes and encourages antisemitism.Entitled to their opinion NOT under a Jewish banner

Horrific news coming out of Bondi. Had just left there a few minutes ago, here in Sydney’s east. Thinking of everyone involved or affected and our NSW police officers running into danger. Please be aware of, and share police instructions and be safe everyone ❤️
NSW Police Force@nswpolice

Attention media - please share our message for members of the public to avoid Bondi Beach area as the police operation continues. We are still asking people in the area to take shelter until we can determine what is happening. We have media officer en route to scene, more information when confirmed.

@Craig_Foster Couldn’t bring yourself to acknowledge this is primarily an attack on Jews. You were one of those that Glamorized intifada and you called terror "RESISTANCE." Now Jewish blood runs in the streets of Sydney and your lies loaded the gun.

@AdingtonP Exactly. Well said. They are so blind to their huge contribution to antisemitism. All these post demonstrate that so clearly.

This unknown organisation of anti-Israel mouthpieces, whose rhetoric fuelled this hatred, is "horrified" that its belief that anti-Zionism and antisemitism are not related caused a synagogue to burn last night—but not that an Israeli restaurant was also terrorised. As it turns out being anti-Zionist last night was the same as being antisemitic.
Jewish Council of Australia@jewishcouncilAU

The Jewish Council of Australia is horrified by the arson attack on the East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation last night on Shabbat while worshippers were inside. There are no reported injuries. This act of violence is an attack not only on the synagogue but on Jewish communities more broadly. We condemn this act of antisemitism and stand in solidarity with the congregation and all people impacted.

@piersmorgan @PiersUncensored Why don’t you ask Stuart Broad to come on and explain how not walking for a blatant snick which he subsequently admitted is in the spirit and why the spirit of cricket is selectively not applicable to him and to England

We can’t get a single Australian cricketer or journalist to come on @PiersUncensored to defend yesterday’s outrage. Any takers? Or should I assume you’ve all realised it’s beyond defending?

The drawn-out saga of Djokovic's coming to Australia, getting shuffled in and out of detention and court hearings before a humiliating late-night deportation, was squarely the result of Tennis Australia’s misjudgment, writes Malcolm Knox. | OPINION #Echobox=1645768185" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">theage.com.au/sport/tennis/q…

@PGAofAustralia why does Foxtel never show more than the top 10 leaderboard nor do the commentators ever mention anyone else other than the top few. Very annoying

@JulianHillMP Because he thought Novak was telling the truth ..do you really believe Novak conveniently got covid one week AFTER he indicated he was looking at a medical exemption!

@GregBaum Novak gone is in my view correct - he tried to cheat his way around the rules. But to show we are decent gracious let’s get on the front foot and say his deportation will not result in a 3 year ban. Preserve some dignity from our pathetic handling of this sorry saga

@BenRothenberg That is a convenient rewriting of history. The whole thing was a try on and the only way it could have worked was to come here and test it. Thankfully it failed. Tiley should be deported from TA

Vasek Pospisil, who created the PTPA with Djokovic and spent time with him in Belgrade in December, says Djokovic was “ready to stay home” from #AusOpen had he not gotten an exemption.

@leighsales Wrong reason for sure. But surely fundamental issue is that Djokovic has lied about just about everything but especially about whether he had covid. He was talking to TA about a medical exemption 1 week before he supposedly contacted it ! Needs to be examined

@BenRothenberg The Institute of Public Health of Serbia website says: results in 24 hours after the swab. Hence, Djokovic probably got the results on December 17th around 1 or 2 pm, AFTER the event with the kids, which seems to have happened in the morning. The photos were posted at 13h42.

A question lingering: if Djokovic was claiming a coronavirus positive in last six months as reason for an exemption, when did he get it? According to BBC, his lawyers say that Djokovic tested positive very recently, less than a month ago, on December 16. bbc.com/news/world-aus…

I am not, I assure you, in the Djokovic Fan Club - & he gives me the ragings . . . But in wake of court quashing the Fed Govt on withdrawing his visa, my gut instinct is the Govt - "rules are rules" - can't invoke a FRESH rule. The court says his paperwork was ok. Your thoughts?
