TRENDING: The #1 WR in the country, Easton Royal (#5 player overall) had his first visit to Tennessee this weekend, and despite being committed to Texas, the Volunteers seem to have gained momentum in this recruitment. Royal recently ran a 4.29 40 yard dash at an Under Armor camp. Last cycle, the Vols were able to flip then #1 WR Tristen Keys off of his LSU commitment. They will attempt to do the same with Royal this season, as he will be an instant impact player for any team that signs him. Now, they have moved the needle massively after only one visit from Royal. Royal dominated the All-American game a few months back despite being a year younger than most of the players. He recently posted a 10.3 100m time, which is comparable to Tyreek Hill’s 10.19 in high school. Royal also has a knack for making extremely tough catches look easy, and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He made visits to Florida and Ole Miss before his time in Knoxville, and is scheduled to be at LSU for a practice this Wednesday as well. The Tigers have already secured an official visit from Royal. A visit to Austin is also being planned for April. Will Texas be able to hold off a large gang of SEC schools doing all they can to snatch Royal?
