@wade_burrell Same type of feedback you get from most people who haven’t put in the reps… Best to let it mature through using it in a controlled test first and roll it out more as you prove it through reps.

I respect the honesty 😂
But for real: the real question for any agent harness is what happens when something breaks at 2am and you depend on it?
Peter Steinberger 🦞@steipete
The next version of OpenClaw is also an MCP, you can use it instead of Anthropic's message channel MCP to connect to a much wider range of message providers. (I know, this is awkward)

@OpenAIDevs Nothing with OAI, my Codex limit was hit already, had to fallback to Claude Code 🤷♂️

Nemoclaw is just an @Openclaw wrapper, there is no NC vs OC, there is no NC without OC

@AlexFinn @mil0theminer Not to mention he’s maybe 19 years old… just a small glimpse into his future

BUT WHAT HAS YOUR OPENCLAW ACTUALLY BUILT???
Well, nothing to be honest. Other than:
1. Shipped 5 new features autonomously to my SaaS Creator Buddy, leading to 25% higher ARR
2 Proactively wrote 8 YouTube scripts that has led to 75,000 new subscribers and $20,000 of ad revenue
3. Completely automated my weekly newsletters, leading to 6,000 new (45,000 total) subscribers and $12,000 more ARR
4. Trained its own AI model based on my thousands of scripts, tweets, newsletters, and emails so it sounds exactly like me so it can accomplish all of the above
5. Planned and scripted tons of educational content for my private community which has increased retention to 94%
6. Automated all the tasks that bring me unhappiness like email and DM organization
7. Kept me in the loop in real time of all the AI advancements the last month so my content can stay cutting edge, increasing impressions and engagement over 10x and revenue into the hundreds of thousands
8. Brought me a tremendous amount of joy that has led to me waking up every single morning full of hope and excitement, the most happy and satisfied I’ve ever been in my life
Other than that nothing much. You’re right Openclaw is useless
English

@AlexFinn Don’t get me wrong, I think you’re doing a good service in general to the space by pushing the right narrative on open source and local LLM usage. I argue that more nuanced use cases will do much more.

One app, one example I’ll wait….
Alex Finn@AlexFinn
I have 10 different OpenClaw agents doing work for me 24/7 Building me apps. Automating my life. Making real $$ In this video I show you how to do the exact same thing You'll set up an entire army of OpenClaw agents to do work for you 24/7 I promise this will blow your mind

It's interesting to me, as one continues to iterate on your A.I.'s memory function and capability, just how much it becomes YOURS... For example:
Answering questions before you have to ask them...
Anticipating your next move...
Providing valuable information, steps, many steps ahead of when you'll need it...
These are things most can't notice until they've worked on something like OpenClaw for months.
English

@Yuchenj_UW It’s called look at what @karpathy did and run it. Pretty cool stuff. Already forked for other use cases.
English

@VadimStrizheus @MatthewBerman Same exact thing happened to me, my usage mirrors Matt’s above. 🤷♂️
English

@MatthewBerman Something happened this is the first time I hit opus limit in awhile
I’m on the 20x max plan

@jumperz Agreed. The lanes are starting to become more and more clear, and there will probably be more lanes defined before it is all said and done.
English

so anthropic shipped scheduled tasks and now their direction has become even more clear
it is still too early to compare claude and openclaw tho cause scheduled tasks are just cron jobs and that is just one part of the system
my prediction: claude is eventually coming for all of this and openclaw will keep being the framework where you plug in whatever you want basically more customisation and control
in my opinion, some users do not want complexity and claude cowork, scheduled tasks and the built-in stuff will be perfect for them, while others want to run multi agent orchestration with different llms, custom memory and full control over everything..
it is not really a competition i think, it is two lanes for two types of people..

@AlexFinn I wish I had gotten more than 2 Mac Minis and a NUC... Got one more Mac Mini today, but as soon as I can get a Mac Studio I am jumping all over it! Had my eyes on a 256gb studio, but I am going to hold until the M5 releases, seems worth it, even if it shoots up in $$
English

>Apple no longer selling 512gb Mac Studios
> New York legislating what you can and can't talk to AI about
> Major AI companies banning you for plugging into OpenClaw
> Mac Minis sold out everywhere
>Next Xbox will be $1,200
Do you see what's happening?
As local intelligence becomes more unobtainable, AI companies are becoming more strict
They don't want you to own your own intelligence
The people who bought their own hardware for OpenClaw are just incredibly early to the major shift happening in this world
Prices are going to explode
By October the average person soon won't be able to afford computers. They will have to rent every piece of technology they use
Owning your own GPUs is freedom
Own. Your. Superintelligence.
