Pat McAfee’s surprise at WWE World was himself: “The surprise that you thought was maybe gonna be your favorite wrestler of all time. Maybe somebody from AEW was gonna sign with WWE… Instead, Pat McAfee’s smarter than all of you dumb marks yet again.”
Mortal Kombat (1995) is held up purely by aura, a killer soundtrack, two legendary fights and Linden Ashby. Everything outside of those things is subpar AT BEST. Paul WS Anderson owes much of his career to Robin Shou because without those last minute reshoots, this film would not have been remembered as fondly as it is today. There’s entertainment to be had here but nostalgia is one hell of a drug
