@Jenny_1884 It’s not about benefits, it’s if you are or have vulnerable people in the house, of any age

So let me get this straight.
5million households have been told there is a hosepipe ban because of water shortages but if you are on benefits & have 3 children this doesn’t apply to you & you can water your garden as much as you like but if you go out & work you can’t.
Can someone beam me up please as this country has lost the plot.
How is this even real 🙀

Thomas Tuchel hits back at Jude Bellingham after his public response following England’s win over Norway.
🗣️ “Jude is a fantastic player, but let me make one thing absolutely clear: no player speaks to his manager like that in public and expects me to applaud it. That’s not leadership that’s a lack of respect. If you have something to say, you walk into my office and say it to my face, not through microphones.”
“He said maybe I don’t know what it’s like to play against Erling Haaland, Martin Ødegaard, Antonio Nusa and Alexander Sørloth. That’s an emotional reaction, not a football argument. I know exactly what they bring. That’s why I expected England to play far better than we did.”
“We won the match, yes. But we were sloppy, careless in possession and made far too many technical mistakes. I will never lie to protect egos. If the performance isn’t good enough, I’ll say it, whether we win 2–1 or 5–0.”
“If players start believing a victory means they’re beyond criticism, we’ve already lost our standards. That mentality doesn’t win World Cups it ends World Cup dreams. My job is to demand excellence, not hand out compliments because the result went our way.”
“Jude has earned the right to be confident through his performances, but confidence must never become arrogance. The badge on the front of the shirt will always be bigger than the name on the back. Every player, including Jude, must remember that.”
“I respect everything Jude has done for England, but respect works both ways. Managers deserve it too. Publicly challenging your coach after a World Cup victory sends the wrong message to the dressing room. If we’re going to become world champions, we need unity, discipline and honesty not public disagreements after every difficult conversation.”

Shocking news that Counter Terrorism Police are investigating a credible, serious threat targeted at an Islamic event in Suffolk.
Thanks to the quick action taken by police and the organisers, nobody was hurt.
My message is clear: I will not tolerate any attacks on our Muslim communities, or any form of anti-Muslim hatred.

These men are truly vile … (don’t like women with views) lots of things I disagreed with Ann Widdecombe on, but these are very unpleasant & unnecessary comments, this women’s just been murdered. Committed to her beliefs & extremely hard working would have also sufficed. When people show you who they are, believe them.
Madeline Grant@Madz_Grant
Adam Boulton talking mean-spiritedly about Ann Widdecombe in front of what looks like a picture of himself. He describes her – a possible murder victim – as a 'spinster', a 'battleaxe', 'a bruiser', an 'old maid', and mentions her virginity, before speculating irresponsibly about her death. Horrible, horrible stuff

@wuikle Why not? His mum did it and he’s kind like her
