This is suspicious as hell. It was reportedly recorded at Tesla's 'Autonomy Visualized' in Miami this weekend and posted to Reddit. Optimus is seen falling backward after smacking some bottles to the ground. But the weird part is that just before falling backward, both of its hands immediately shoot up to its “face” in a distinct grasping motion, as if pulling an object off its head. It looks like someone is removing their VR headset.

@TeslaKing420 @Teslaconomics I agree, ai deep fake. But boy is that not a popular opinion. I wish Tesla would just speak up and put this to rest. Haven’t seen any other footage or testimony from anyone who witnessed this.

This isn’t Optimus taking off a virtual headset and falling to the ground, it’s Optimus getting mind blown that it’s in a body of a humanoid robot and falling to the ground in shock. Think a little deeper you dummies…

@DrKnowItAll16 I don’t know man, this clip looks ai generated to me. The water bottle doesn’t line up with the hand that supposedly hit with such force that it exploded. That and there is no other footage of this incident and the video is clipped at 5 seconds. Highly suspect. I call ai.

I thought Elon said Tesla Optimus was fully AI, but apparently that was a big lie. It turns out the robot was fully tele-operated, and they even had to stop the demo because the operator took off his headset, which caused the robot to fail. I’m sure it will get there, but why lie about it? We really need a truth system.
