So today @nikkharris and I went to test the waitlist
At least 8 people cut in line and we don’t think they knew about the waitlist, maybe the design should show that other people are waiting before it invites them to join
And when someone cut in line it says nothing to address what they did.
We waited until all stalls got filled, then a pop up showed in our cars asking to join a waitlist, it may get easily dismissed because it shows up on top where the time is, you also see an option to join the waitlist once you start navigating to the supercharger if it’s full, but it’s also easy to miss.

Then Nik joined
It showed at my end that one car was ahead of me, and it showed Nik he’s third on the waitlist.

@AlSultan_Meriam @nikkharris Yeah unless it prevents a car from charging honestly, OR had them charge at an increased rate for going out of turn, I’m not sure how this is funny to be effective in the slightest.

A week ago my grocery delivery wasn’t at my door when I got home (5 minutes after it was delivered) so I assumed it was stolen since the picture was the delivery person took, was of my street.

Oh also one feature I loved
It shows you your place in the waitlist in the Tesla app
And also asks you to go charge.
And it keeps your place in the waitlist even if you left the car
It’s just for some reason displaying an incorrect car, mine is an ultra red model 3 Highland.

I think they should start with educating people at the charging stations
Then they can lock the charger to the car in queue, they give us 3 minutes to charge, they can lock it for those three minutes at least, and they can perhaps add a button that says “report a problem” if the person trying to charge is not even they guy behind you in queue it would continue locking them, and you can report a problem saying you weren’t allowed to charge when it was your turn, maybe it continues Locking the charger so the guy leaves.
But they need to start by educating people about it and making the UI clearer.

@AlSultan_Meriam I was thinking less punishment and more enforcement, sort of like the congestion fees for charging over 80%, which I think would also apply anyway in these scenarios. If that makes sense, I totally get what you're saying though
