Michelle donated several pieces she had worn to the collection and they were later showcased with the support of John Thompson and Scott Leroux. We have been honoured to share Michelle’s story and legacy at Toronto History Museums.

Toronto History Museums was saddened to hear of the passing of Michelle DuBarry (Russell Alldread), a groundbreaking performer, artist and storyteller who was a legendary member of Toronto’s drag community.
