@TPExpressTrains Horrendous journey today thanks to the TRU upgrade. Trains between Brighouse and Leeds dangerously overcrowded and bus replacement between Brighouse and Huddersfield taking ridiculously long. (cc @TPEassist)

🛠️TransPennine Route Upgrade rail engineering work will be undertaken throughout May and June, with significant disruption expected between Huddersfield and #Leeds. This weekend, no trains will call at #Huddersfield. Trains running between #ManchesterVictoria and #Dewsbury will be diverted to call at #Brighouse. Between Monday the 4th to Friday the 8th of May only, a very limited service will operate to / from Huddersfield. I cannot understand your logic @TPExpressTrains. I travelled on the 10:41 train from Doncaster to Cleethorpes on 03.05.27 using an advanced single ticket. Due to problems the train only left Doncaster station at 12:02. Only AFTER the train pulled away from the station ...

@TPExpressTrains I want to know the reason for this given I only arrived at my destination around 2 hours after intended and the communication provided was absolutely abysmal. I would expect the rejected claim to be considered.

@TPExpressTrains disgraceful service was on the 19:17 train from Manchester Piccadilly to Cleethorpes planning on getting off at Meadowhall got to train door to exit after making my way down the carriage to find door shutting meaning I'm now on my way to Doncaster fuming

@TPExpressTrains @Jamesonatrain1 There was no announcement 👍 and the train stopped for 30 seconds maximum. Wasn't just me it happened to either as there was at least 50 people in the same boat

@FawcusJack @Jamesonatrain1 Hi Jack. Unfortunately services stop at stations with the expectation on customer's to be prepared and to be queued for departing the train prior to the doors opening. This is why there is an announcement 2 minutes prior to arrival. ^Jay

@TPExpressTrains I am on the 1043 from Leeds to Scarborough and the train has no reservation tickets. I have two young children and we are having to sit apart, just because the reservations haven’t been applied. Not acceptable for such a full service when I have reserved seats.

@TPExpressTrains my daughters train (16.24 from Liverpool Lime Street to Durham) was cancelled on Friday when it arrived at Leeds. She has submitted a cancellation refund and it has been declined. Surely this is incorrect?

Hi, from Preston, we have rail replacement organised to take people to Manchester Piccadilly. Additionally, we have a ticket agreement in place for people to use Northern services from Preston to Blackburn then Blackburn to Manchester Victoria. From Manchester Victoria, you can take the Metrolink services to Manchester Piccadilly. ^Abi

Hi @TPExpressTrains I am on the Edinburgh Waverley to Manchester Piccadilly and now they said it is being terminated at Preston due to an emergency incident. How are we all getting from Preston to Mcr? This is urgent. Thanks

@TraceyJ883164 Good afternoon, we are very sorry about the disruption today. This is caused by a fault with a canal bridge near the line however this has now been resolved and there are just some residual delays so services should be moving again. ^Charlotte
