இன்று (22.02.2026) காலை 10 மணி அளவில் திருச்சியில் உள்ள ரயில்வே கோட்ட மேலாளர் (DRM – Trichy) அவர்களை அவரது அலுவலகத்தில் சந்தித்தேன். இந்த சந்திப்பின்போது, எனது திருச்சி மக்களின் சார்பில் பல்வேறு முக்கிய கோரிக்கைகளை முன்வைத்தேன். முதலில் இன்று காலை நான் கள ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்ட ஜீவா நகரில் ரயில்வே இருப்புப் பாதை அருகே வளர்ந்துள்ள முட்புதர்களை உடனடியாக அகற்ற நடவடிக்கை எடுக்குமாறு கேட்டுக்கொண்டேன். அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, 2. திருவெறும்பூர் ரயில் நிலையத்தில் திருச்சி- மயிலாடுதுறை ரயில் எண் 16833/34க்கு நிறுத்தம் வழங்குதல், 3. ஸ்ரீரங்கம் LC எண் 244/A பகுதியில் முன்மொழியப்பட்ட மினி ROB திட்டத்தின் தற்போதைய நிலை, 4. சமயபுரம் பூச்சொரிதல் திருவிழாவின்போது DEMU சிறப்பு ரயில் இயக்கம், 5. திருச்சி–கரூர்–சேலம் இடையே ஷட்டில் (Shuttle ) ரயில் சேவை இயக்கம், 6. குறிப்பிட்ட இடங்களில் முன்மொழியப்பட்டுள்ள ரயில்வே மேம்பால திட்டங்களின் தற்போதைய நிலை குறித்த அறிக்கை, 7. வடக்கு உக்கடை அரியமங்கலம் பகுதியில் சப்வே அமைத்தல், 8. G Corner தொடர்பான பிரச்சினை மற்றும் அதுகுறித்து சமீபத்தில் ரயில்வே அமைச்சர் மற்றும் சாலைப் போக்குவரத்து அமைச்சர் அவர்களுடன் நடைபெற்ற சந்திப்பு குறித்து விரிவாக எடுத்துரைத்தேன். எனது கோரிக்கைகளை கவனமாகக் கேட்டுக் கொண்ட திருச்சி DRM அவர்கள், அவற்றை சாதகமாக பரிசீலிப்பதாக உறுதியளித்தார். திருச்சி மக்களின் நலனுக்காக தொடர்ந்து பாடுபடுவேன். அன்புடன் துரை வைகோ நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் (திருச்சி) முதன்மைச் செயலாளர் மறுமலர்ச்சி திமுக 22.02.2026 #MDMK #Vaiko #trichymp #DuraiVaiko
If the people of Vellore want to travel to Tiruchirappalli, they are forced to travel via Villupuram and change trains there. At present, there is only one direct train service — the Rameswaram Express. Although some long-distance trains are available from Katpadi Junction, they operate only once or twice a week. This is highly inconvenient and does not meet the regular travel needs of passengers. Therefore, introducing a daily Intercity Express between Tiruchirappalli and Vellore (Katpadi) is absolutely essential. This entire region has been consistently neglected in terms of railway connectivity and service expansion. @DRMTPJ
Another train dumped on Trichy which doesn't cater Trichy, Srirangam & Lalgudi pax. People expected short termination of Pallavan Exp at TPJ or a proper TPJ–MAS IC via CHORD LINE as compensation for Pallavan extension. But these genuine demands of TPJ people are ignored #Trichy
Special trains between Thiruchchirappalli and Tambaram are now regularised as Express services (5 days a week, except Tue & Wed) starting 01 March 2026. #SouthernRailway #Thiruchchiraappalli #Tambaram
