Dortmund saying Kobel is available for the right price, Yann Sommer and John Stones both free agents. I can’t help but feeling Newcastle are missing out on a couple of easily acquirable big wins. #nufc

🚨 Are we overpaying for Bruno Guimarães when a cheaper, younger, and better tactical fit is available? The Bruno saga is turning into a massive financial trap. While he is world-class, Newcastle’s stubborn £80m+ demand will drain our entire budget [AFTV on Facebook]. If they continue to stall on our £70m valuation, Mikel Arteta must pivot immediately to the perfect alternative: Eduardo Camavinga. Reports indicate Real Madrid need to balance their books and could sell Camavinga for just £42m–£51m. Getting a talent of his caliber for nearly half of Bruno's price is an absolute steal. The Tactical Breakdown: 1. Elite Progressor: Camavinga ranks in the highest percentiles for progressive carries and successful take-ons, allowing us to break deep defensive blocks much faster than Bruno's slower build-up style. 2. The Ultimate Press-Breaker: Under pressure, Camavinga uses body feints and quick acceleration to transition from defense to attack seamlessly. 3. Arteta’s Dream Versatility: Bruno is a fixed midfielder, but Camavinga is a tactical Swiss Army knife. He can orchestrate play as a lone 6, drive forward as an 8, or invert from left-back to overload the midfield. Bruno at 28 is a short-term luxury. Camavinga at 23 perfectly matches the age profile of Saka, Saliba, and Ødegaard—locking down our midfield for the next decade. Gooners, if it comes down to £85m for Bruno or £50m for Camavinga, what are you doing? 🔴⚪️ Drop your takes below! 👇 #AFC #Arsenal #TransferNews #Camavinga

@adamkeys_ There's no such thing as gamble in this deal, he's a premier league proven player who has played very well across all seasons.

Bruno Guimarães returns to training next week, and if it’s completed this week, we could see him in Dublin. Given that the deal now appears to be closer than ever, a small overpay to wrap it up, protect Declan Rice, and protect our start to the season, is a gamble worth taking.

@NUFC___NEWS He’s quite cheap, champions league experience, wages reasonable i”d imagine, only need a couple of injuries and we are in a mess! You need these type of signings!

Tomori would be a very strange signing imo unless we’re selling/getting rid of one that we already have. We’re only playing once a week so maximum we need is 4 imo and we have Thiaw and Botman with Schar and Burn as back ups?? Can’t see it happening imo #nufc #nufcfans

£70m for Bruno Guimaraes is already a bit of an overpay, in my view. At a certain point if the player wants the move, he needs to make it happen himself. I imagine Arsenal will wrap UCL-winning and PL-winning adds ons, which Newcastle will include in their final-fee brief.

@TPTMerch @NUFCgallowgate Then you'll have a pretty disappointed player, and Arsenal will move on to another guy. Best case scenario you try and get 40-50m next year, if he doesn't down tools. Or you lose him for a free. Once the player says he wants to go, selling club lose the upper hand.

@TPTMerch @NUFCgallowgate Unlikely, considering how Utd have been in recent years. But either way, you've left the conversation and entered into a world of guesswork to try and justify your point. Bruno G's 70m offer from Arsenal would be the largest fee for a midfielder his age. It's as far as I'd go.

You can perhaps understand why so many Villa fans are hacked off with the way that PSR/SCR has constrained the club over recent years when looking at the net spend over the last five years we have calculated at @valuball

@Safcmbell To explain how this ‘works’ just look at who has won the premier league since 2000. Take out Leicester and you have your answer!

Newcastle project is strange. They have gone from, we want to win stuff now & build a super team, to wanting to become a sustainable club, buying young players & probably selling them to better teams. Not a bad thing, it’s what we do, but not what they were promised. #safc #nufc

Can Newcastle, just once in their life, just once!! allow a player who clearly wants to leave the club to leave and wish him well, without any unnecessary drama? £70–£80m for a player who's soon to turn 30 is actually good business. So why do they enjoy stressing someone out? This type of behaviour is what makes players want to force a move. Then in the end, they’ll call it disrespect. Very awful club, Newcastle.

Newcastle are being foolish if they reject £70m for Bruno G. The club is in an absolute state financially & they have to sell. Arsenal have already proven with Monga & Rogers that they will walk away from a deal if the other club demands too much. Newcastle can't afford that.

Have Your Say The Arsenal Way. 🎗
@TPTMerch @Luxfordinho @SamiMokbel_BBC No one is looking for a bargain here. Bruno is a good player but one with zero resale value & that matters. The record transfer fee for a player of Bruno's age is £60m so I definitely think £70m is fair value for him. The lad has given his all to newcastle now let him progress.

Arsenal to make £70million offer for Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes. Brazil international viewed as a key midfield target but #AFC unwilling to overpay in inflated market. bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

@HArsenalway @SamiMokbel_BBC Irrelevant tbh. He’s worth more to us, as a player, than Tonali was. Bruno’s game isn’t based on pace, he runs like he’s in treacle bless him so he’s got 4 or 5 seasons at the top left in him. Plus isn’t your record sale still Oxlade-Chamberlain for £35m…?
