🚨EPSTEIN FILES NOTE🚨 I want every sex offender related to Epstein buried under a prison…right next to the sex offenders I’ve already buried there. As a career prosecutor, I spent nearly my entire adult life fighting for victims of crime and this is no different. What person of conscience could be against bringing sex offenders and rapists to justice?! That said, the criticism of @TheJusticeDept and @AGPamBondi for not bringing charges is unfounded. Charges require: ✔️provable, admissible evidence ✔️that can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt in court ✔️ brought within the statute of limitations (10 years) ✔️ a cooperating victim ✔️credible victim ✔️corroboration of the accusation (can’t just be her testimony) ✔️jurisdiction of the U.S. I do not believe that AG Bondi or @DAGToddBlanche or @FBIDirectorKash would bury prosecutable charges after all of the scrutiny they’ve endured. It’s true we thought there would be more prosecutions. It’s true we thought the “Epstein Files” would contain provable evidence. It’s true that it is disappointing there appears to be uncorroborated accusations that perhaps were worthy of greater investigation 15-20 years ago. That cannot be the fault of this DOJ! We must also concede that it is true that the Trump Administration is the ONLY administration to get us this far. People are being held accountable for their relationship with Epstein, albeit not through the justice system. For instance, the files have netted information that revealed other alleged criminal behavior. Just ask Prince Andrew. Many have lost their jobs and influence. Maxwell sits in federal prison! This may be the best we can do…but it’s more accountability brought by the Trump DOJ than every other DOJ combined. It’s also true that many of the allegations made in the files are not credible and simply false. This is why an accusation alone can never predicate a criminal charge. Multiple DOJs from both parties have had decades to analyze evidence and bring charges. Only Trump investigated and charged Epstein and Maxwell for their disgusting human trafficking. And one more thing…there is no shortage of cameras and column space where any victim can name their abuser directly this very second. That’s not happening, for whatever reason. I’d encourage the loudest among them to do so and be prepared to present credible evidence of the abuse beyond the mere accusation. An accusation cannot morph into an indictment. If it did, it would quickly mutate into an acquittal. Also, the “pedo protector” tropes are simply defamatory and obnoxious when what I’ve just described is pointed out, often by career prosecutors like me. It’s a disgusting, malign slur that offers no value in discourse. In the same way the false accusations from “victims” harm the credibility of real victims, these tropes all atrophy into cover for real pedo protectors. There is a special place in Hell for Epstein and those like him. I’m comforted by the fact that justice WILL come to them all…in this life or the next. Just my $.02.

The right to bear arms is actually more of a pure right than voting. We have to have IDs to buy firearms, which is reasonable. We should have to have ID’s to vote. Which is also reasonable..

146M Americans do not have a passport. 40M eligible voters do not have access to their birth certificate. 69M women do not have a birth certificate that matches their married name. The SAVE Act denies the right to vote for millions of Americans by requiring specific forms of ID that millions of U.S. citizens do not have, and requiring them to effectively pay a poll tax, which is illegal, in order to get those documents to vote. The SAVE Act is voter suppression. Republicans know that Trump has made them deeply unpopular, so they know they need to cheat to win.

I can’t understand the problem with producing a valid ID to vote. The Democrats have been producing a death certificate to vote for years.

I’m VOTING NO on the SAVE ACT because it will: ➡️ Require proof of citizenship at poll sites — like a passport or birth certificate — documents millions of Americans don’t carry with them ➡️ Charge Americans up to $130 to obtain paperwork ➡️ Target women whose names don’t match their birth certificates, seniors, military families & rural voters - disenfranchising millions! ➡️ Cost $19 billion nationwide ➡️ Make voting harder on purpose and intimidate those newly naturalized. That’s not election security - that is voter suppression and an erosion of our democracy.

@lisamurkowski Do you represent your own interests and interpretations or that of your constituents? If the latter, do you know what their majority position is on the legislation you are opposing? You might find your statement is not supported by those who you represent.

When Democrats attempted to advance sweeping election reform legislation in 2021, Republicans were unanimous in opposition because it would have federalized elections, something we have long opposed. Now, I’m seeing proposals such as the SAVE Act and MEGA that would effectively do just that. Once again, I do not support these efforts. Not only does the U.S. Constitution clearly provide states the authority to regulate the "times, places, and manner" of holding federal elections, but one-size-fits-all mandates from Washington, D.C., seldom work in places like Alaska. Election Day is fast approaching. Imposing new federal requirements now, when states are deep into their preparations, would negatively impact election integrity by forcing election officials to scramble to adhere to new policies likely without the necessary resources. Ensuring public trust in our elections is at the core of our democracy, but federal overreach is not how we achieve this.

Mothers and children rounded up in their homes and sent back to their violence-ridden countries. Cage-like structures built to house migrant families. 56 migrant deaths in ICE custody. 75% of immigrants detained without a judicial warrant. 87% of detainees with legitimate asylum claims.“Record-setting numbers,” ICE director brags. Another ICE agent, Tom Homan, is awarded by the President for his overseeing of deportations. All of this occurred under Barack Obama, the president who still holds the record for deportations. And yet, there were no riots, no one called Obama Hitler or compared ICE to Nazis, and there were no widespread social media campaigns calling for an end to immigration enforcement. Consider that the chaos you’re seeing is manufactured by bad actors for the purpose of weaponizing your compassion for nefarious ends. It’s time to opt out of the madness and start thinking.

The things I and many simultaneously believe to be true: - I wish Renee Good and Alex Pretti were still alive. They were people made in God’s image whose lives had value, and their deaths are tragic - I still am unclear about the true story surrounding Pretti’s killing - I am not sure DHS messaging on Pretti’s death has been completely accurate or helpful - The chaos that led to their deaths is in large part due to local law enforcement refusing keep the public from impeding ICE and local politicians stoking the flames by calling ICE “Gestapo” - ICE and border patrol agents, by and large, do a good, compassionate job that is very difficult. Like any group - teachers, pastors, social workers, etc - there will be those who are corrupt or bad at their jobs, and it’s ok to acknowledge that if apparent - ICE’s job is necessary and good. Removing illegal aliens, including those who have committed heinous crimes against American children, should be able to be done without conflict. This is normal business that has been conducted in similar ways under both R and D administrations. The chaos is not caused by Trump. It is caused by those who hate Trump - America, like every country, has the right and responsibility to defend its borders, protect citizenship, and enforce immigration law. This is necessary for national sovereignty. This is not “kidnapping,” and it’s not just violent criminals who need to be deported. - Lots of overlap between those decrying ICE and those who: never said a word about immigration enforcement under Biden & Obama, have never expressed concern about the lives lost because of illegal immigration, support abortion, or accused Charlie Kirk of racism in the days following his murder. I am 100% uninterested in what these people have to say about morality or justice.

🚨Don Lemon and the City Church riot🚨 The FBI Affidavit in support of an arrest warrant is horrific. One woman broke her arm, the protestors blocked parents from getting to their children, they screamed in the faces of children, one child told his dad he thought they were going to die. Read these screenshots from the affidavit. Why has Don Lemon not been arrested and why are William Kelly aka dawokefarmer and the rest of the people arrested out of jail? Why haven’t ever one of the people that entered the church not been thrown into solitary confinement like they did the J6 defendants? This makes me angry.

@ScottJenningsKY This is what drives me mad. There always has to be some point of contention or disagreement on literally every issue. Wins can’t just be wins. Bad things can’t just be bad. There has to be a “but” attached to every single issue and it’s maddening.
