Is it just me or is everyone who hates on “Ai” the same people who worked at blockbuster and got mad Netflix and the internet became a thing ?? Darwinism at its finest. Adapt to survive. If you’re an artist and you are being phased out by Ai. Your art ain’t that good.

All the top films these days are CGI, special effects, no plot films. AI will easily capitalize on this

Scraping websites and having AI summarize them, so that no one visits the websites, is theft.
Training AI on videos, so that it can make new videos that compete with them, is theft.
We are witnessing the largest theft of creative work in history.

@alexutopia Funny, but I was thinking the exact opposite. Remember when Amazon was going to make commerce available to everyone when really all they meant was they were going to flood the market with cheap copies until they drove everyone else out of business.

The more I watch anti-AI engagement,
the more political it looks.
At some point it stops being about art
and starts looking like anti-capitalism.
But AI makes creation cheaper,
faster, and more accessible.
You can call that exploitation.
Most people will call it opportunity.
