@TheAnjow I liked this movie. Freddy was just pure malevolence with no looney tunes jokes. His appearance was off putting af. The scene in the diver at the beginning was brutally terrifying. Enjoyed the more serious tone.

Horror hot take: Jackie Earl Haley was not bad as Freddy. The script was bad, the direction was bad, the cinematography was bad, the editing was bad, it was bad bad bad. But he, given what he was given to work with, was not bad.
