@GraduatedBen A cubicle destiny combined with nonstop anti-masculine TV/Film. Never stood a chance. Watching a reality tv show from the early 00's is crazy. The dudes just appear older, differentiated, and self assured.

@ItIsHoeMath The left tends to be obsessed with institutional control. To them, every vertical of society should be governed by unquestioned power structures and "experts". Leave nothing up to personal agency. What they say is truth. What you see doesn't matter. To question them is ignorance.

This is why I tell the truth out loud as rudely and as often as possible. People say I'm hateful. Yeah. Yup. I hate being told to live a lie. Join me in calling out all the lies you can find in the rudest and truest possible way, or you're kind of a fag to be honest

@romanhelmetguy Also just tends to happen when a person has zero acting versatility and is effectively the same person in every movie. I like Damon, he fits his Matt Damon role well in certain movies shows, but its always just Matt Damon

Matt Damon has the prototypical American face. It's perfect for Saving Private Ryan or Good Will Hunting. But whenever he plays a character from ancient or medieval European history, it just feels like you're watching a present-day American playing dress-up.

It went up 500% *only* because they *chose* to issue new notes. In doing so they actively converted $26M in convertible debt to $150M to only raise another $70M in proceeds lol. If ASPI had just raised cash itself, it could've raised $70M for ~5% dilution. Instead the conversion simply locked in a 500% conversion debt bump, added more liabilities than it did cash and then had the parent clear it all with 20% dilution and no proceeds.

@TRW_18 they were converted at a 500% premium because they $QLE valuation went up 500% between raises from $80M to $400M. equity from an equity raise would’ve also appreciated 500% and no one would consider extra dilution

$ASPI ASPI shareholders gave the noteholders: approximately 15.1% of the post-transaction ASPI share count; and exposure to ASPI’s other assets, not just QLE. In return, ASPI/QLE received: 🧵

@tgby84u @katsuxbt Yeah, really just comes down to how much Americans value having the best swimmers in the Olympics and whether or not that's worth funding.

@katsuxbt Well…nobody is willing to pay money to watch swimming; or even spend time watching it on TV for ad revenue, except for a few weeks during the Olympics. Swimming is not economically self-sustaining. Same as most of the Olympic sports.

Michael Phelps says the two best swimmers in America make $1,750 a month, and it hasn’t changed in 10 years “The stipend, I believe, is the same amount that I got 10 years ago, $1,750 a month. That’s the top two athletes” “That’s not going to get you very far, in this day and age, No” “You can go to $3,000 if you want, but then USA Swimming basically dictates your schedule, what meets you can go to and this and that” “All I want is change. I hope no one's taking this as me just dogging USA Swimming. Again, I can't say this enough the athletes need to be treated better” “And I'm not gonna stop until it's solved”

Not sure off the top of my head, but feel like the list is public--likely a bunch of venture money. Paul and team basically gifted them a 500% return by issuing new notes in 2025. In doing so QLE increased its liabilities by almost double what the new notes actually brought in with new capital and then let them use that inflated 2025 valuation to convert to ASPI shares at floor valuations... which it was never supposed to convert to.

@TRW_18 @Mindwalletbody And who were the note holders? I think you are on the right track here. I ran a timeline on $ASPI promises and deliveries for a few years, it all started pointing towards more smoke and mirrors than substance. But, each to their own and there are plenty of fan boys on this one.

$aspi Unfortunately, Paul has not earned the trust of the public at this point in time. Any financing maneuvers are treated with skepticism and send the stock plunging. It is what it is

@Mindwalletbody They are vacuuming money from ASP shareholders into their other structures. Diluting ASP to pump up the rest.

The more Ive thought about this recent transaction the more skeptical I become if this team. The notes they issued in 2024 only raised ~$26M in proceeds. By *choosing* to issue new notes 1 year later those 2024 notes auto converted to ~$150M in value. That's an increase of almost 500% for those note holders. They also only brought in ~$70M in proceeds. They basically chose to add $193M in convertible debt while only bringing in $70M in new capital. All on QLEs books. Then only 9 months later they decide to clear out half the notes/debt with ASPI equity....at a 50% discount to when they decided to issue these new notes. That seems extremely suspect.

The more I think about it, by them deciding to issue new notes in 2025, they effectively decided to take on an extra $121M in debt while only actually bringing in $70M in new notes. Seems kinda suspect in hindsight especially considering their decision to wipe out half the notes with ASPI dilution only 9 months later at a severely discounted price.

@TRW_18 The 2024 notes were exchanged for approximately $147.66 million of new 2025 QLE notes. QLE also raised approximately $69.6 million of new cash through $72.2 million of additional notes. you seem to be missing the fact that a majority of the $210M is from the old notes.

The Chicago school of economics argument is that someone already is monetizing this edge. In the best case it’s someone with a pure latency edge, and they are creating value by moving data faster. 1) the information is property of the company 2) someone is already extracting rent from it as an edge 3) the company shareholders are better served if they auction it and capture the rent 4) a public auction removes the margins for the dark forest to exploit the edge This is under the assumption that the source of the information isn’t adversarial.
