Another financial crash is likely. This process is not 'law-like'. Human (vaguely, anyway) financiers act on herd-like 'expectations' of what the 'representative' borrower and lender will do. Problem? The 'representative' borrower or lender doesn't exist. rwer.wordpress.com/2026/04/28/why…

🇮🇳❤️🇿🇦🍊. Congrats and a big Wow! to South Africa: Citrus exports to India grew 85% this past year. BRICs partnership must be given some credit, but also aggressive global marketing of South African citrus by SA's agriculture sector.

At this point it's just a canon event in my life, having to institutionally read this every three years in the last decade. A banger, every time.

Did you know a Tesla Model 3 costs around R750,000 in Morocco… but would cost between R1.5M and R1.7M in South Africa? The difference? Taxes. Morocco gives EVs just 2.5% duty and zero VAT. South Africa hits you with 25% import duty, ad valorem luxury tax, AND 15% VAT — basically doubling the price. Until our government changes these insane EV taxes, electric cars will stay a rich man’s toy here. Should SA copy Morocco’s EV tax policy? 🇿🇦 @Tesla @elonmusk @the_dtic @CyrilRamaphosa

Public debt is the worst form of extraction economy. Punitive taxation sustains debt colonialism. It drains citizens. It impoverish them. It diminishes incomes and destroys access to essential services. Public debt is killing economy and Kenyans' lives

Hello, Doc @masiapata. I was listening to your presentation about the six winning bidders, and I wanted to point out a small correction. You mentioned that the government will not be paying anything, but that's not accurate. A government-backed concession does involve financial support, and it’s precisely this backing that enables bidders to secure funding from commercial banks.
