My only issue with the review is that for almost all of his car reviews he chooses the top spec trim. He chose the base trim for his 2026 Model Y review, which I understand for highlighting affordability, but most people buy the higher Premium trims.
You get a lot of stuff for the extra $5k you spend to hop in a Premium trim.

I've been watching some recent 2026 Model Y reviews, and it blows my mind that some of these car reviewers don't even test/talk about FSD in their videos.
Like, the car can drive itself pretty much anywhere, and somehow that's not worth mentioning or showing? lol

After much thought, I have asked Tesla to remove the $10,100 FSD option from my Model Y L invoice.
Everyone is going to have a different opinion on this, but ultimately for me (as I'm about to take delivery next week) I can't justify the extra cost, even as someone that uses FSD every day (and loves it). The subscription option just suits us better, even if the price goes up.
I may regret dropping the opportunity to have one of the last FSD-optioned cars. But selling more Tesla stock also doesn't sit well with me. Time will tell.
