今まで隠してましたが東京とんこつ店主、ステージ4のガンでした。 ガンが発覚したのは約8年くらい前の開業して半年過ぎた頃、大腸ガンのステージ3bが見つかった。腸を20cm位切って術後は抗がん剤治療と毎月の検査。5年が経つ最後の検査で転移が見つかり手術不可能のステージ4と診断された。 あと何年生きれるのか？と瞬時に思った。正直これ以上ないショックを受けたのは今でも鮮明に覚えている。生きてくには一生、抗がん剤治療を続けるしか方法はないと言われた。それでも生きられる保証は絶対にない。いずれ同じ薬は効かなくなる。また別の薬、そのまた別の薬と手段は減っていき、最後は緩和ケアと説明を受けた。治療方針は国立がんセンターで実際の治療は地元の病院でやってきた。国立がんセンターともなるとその場にいる人全員がガン患者。もちろん芸能人までいる。元気な人から正直、かなりヤバい人まで居るから気が滅入る。だが、そんなことも言ってられず治療を続ける。時には在宅で自分管理で点滴をした時期もあった。薬が効かず、時には効き過ぎて身体を壊して入院した事もしばしばあった。毎月毎月の治療費以上に肉体的精神的負担が大きかった。薬なんて一粒数千円のものもザラにある。いつまで続けるんだ？とやめようと思った事も何百回もある。抗がん剤も残り2種類しか方法がなくなってきた。その後は緩和ケア。要は死ぬのを待つだけ。唯一の幸せは自分が病人である事を忘れてる時だけ。だから仕事仲間も病人に対する目や態度はしなかった。それが逆に良かった。仕事してる時が気が紛れる唯一の時。だから通院日以外は定休日を作らなかった。あとやってない事は食生活の改善。身体に良いとされてるものだけを食べ続けた。もちろん酒は飲まない。仮に飲んでも年に2回くらい。血液検査は月2回もするから自分の身体の状態はそこらの人より詳しくなった。今の最後から2番目のクソ高い薬と食生活の改善のせいか、もしくは効き過ぎた以前の薬のせいか、ここ一年はゆっくりと数値も下がってきた。 診察の度にもしかして…と主治医が言い始めてきた。それはガンが大きくなってないと。もちろん摘出した訳ではないから細胞は体内にあるが、ガンは死滅したかもと。正直、ここ1、2ヶ月の血液の数値は健康的な人と同じくらいにまでなった。でもステージ4だ。主治医がカンファレンスで今後を決めると。もしかしてのミラクルか？と多少期待値を上げてしまう。そして年度末の3/31の診察で抗がん剤治療はやめましょう、寛解です！と。完治とお墨付きをもらうには5年くらい必要だろうけどミラクル起きました❣️ステージ4からの復活！これ以上の最高はない。今まで治療から逃げずにやってきて良かったです。これまで以上に身体を大切にし、残りの人生も大切に過ごして生きていきます。病気は一部の方々しか告知してませんでしたが、現在でも同じ治療をされてる方、絶対に諦めたらその時点で終わりです。この8年もの間にも途中で諦めて去って行った方もいくつも見てきました。年々治療法も良くはなってきてますが、正直ラクなものは無いです。では、かな〜りの長文になってしまいましたが明日からも変わらずよろしくお願いします🙇店主より
