Tested this - it works but is misleading. You're not running "Claude Code," you're running open models (Qwen and co.) through Ollama. The ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL redirect just points the CLI to Ollama's API instead of Anthropic's servers. On a laptop CPU: ~10-20 tokens/sec vs Claude's 100+, noticeably lower quality. Already uninstalled. For professional work, real Claude/Cursor subscriptions are worth it. Useful for privacy/offline needs, but don't expect Claude-level performance.
