The worst thing about placement matches is that if someone doesn’t join from round 1 it’s a 4v5 or surrender??

In almost 3 years we received 0 actual Anti-Cheat updates, that improved the quality of matchmaking.
VAC can’t detect even the most blatant rage hacking.
CS2 BETA was filled with rage hackers and so is Season 5.
They are making hundreds of millions, but it seems like they don’t spend even 1% of that towards dealing with the real issues.

New season dropped and Valve's "anti-cheat" clocked out on day one.
Every single match. Two spinbots on my team, three on theirs. That's not matchmaking, that's a beyblade tournament.
In 2026. With AI everywhere. Valve looked at the problem and said "nah."

Okay, so people were waiting for A HUGE update, but instead of that we got.
1) Maps that were made by community (no effort from Valve)
2) Skins and Stickers made by community (again 0 effort from Valve)
3) Absolutely useless changes that NOONE asked for (useless effort from Valve)
4) No Anti Cheat updates, no optimization, no subtick upgrades, NOTHING that is related towards making the game better.
5) USELESS Season 5 Premier, that is already filled with people spinbotting and rage cheating.
Way to go, Valve!

Found some time to test it roughly. There are a lot of issues upto 70 ping at default fow settings with rendering. There is definitely more input lag (feeling, not tested yet) and higher fps when the culling is active. The tool is way better than my expectations.

A user named Karola3vax built a server-side anti-cheat plugin called Fog of War, which aims to prevent the use of wallhacks and potentially increase FPS by 20-30%. "CS2FOW is not a visual filter. It is server-side visibility culling. If an enemy is fully hidden behind solid map geometry, the server stops sending that enemy data to the player. Sending fewer hidden players can also reduce client and network work. Depending on the map, player count, and hardware, this can provide around 20-30% more FPS."

🇷🇺Russian investigators uncover network of 29 torture sites for soldiers who refused to fight
Investigators have identified 29 illegal detention sites in occupied Donbas and across Russia where more than 1,000 Russian servicemen who refused combat orders were allegedly imprisoned.
According to testimonies, detainees were beaten, starved, tortured, and in some cases killed for refusing to take part in assault operations.
One former soldier from Russia's 5th Brigade described the conditions:
"They brought soldiers in with bags over their heads. They weren't fed. If you needed the toilet, they gave you a bucket. While I was detained, people were hung from the ceiling by chains attached to their hands and feet. Some of my comrades who refused assault orders were locked in a basement. Almost all of them were killed. One was stabbed, another was shot in the face. Here in Donetsk, killing has become a normal thing."

Was ignorant for a long time when it came to keyboard settings.
I just watched the latest @iamcs2kitchen video about actuation and Rapid Trigger, applied the settings from the video, and felt a HUGE improvement in my very first game.
