FULL SPEECH: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas warns of progressivism as a threat to America. “Progressivism is replacing the core principles of the Declaration of Independence.” “If you think it’s losing confidence...get up and participate. You don’t sit on the sidelines.”

🧑🏫Liberal Ideological & Moral Governance Began In Schools in the 1970's - Comparisons Between American vs Canadian Approaches to Immigration Do you remember under Liberal govs in the 1970's-1990's Canadian students were explicitly taught to view America's immigration 'melting pot' as morally inferior and the Canadian immigration 'mosaic' as morally superior, subtly nudging us to accept erasure of our culture as morally virtuous? 🇨🇦🌟🏅Canadian Mosaic = Virtuous, superior, framed as a model of inclusion, moral virtue, and cultural preservation. This teaching completely ignored problems of social segregation, systemic inequality, and tensions between cultural communities. ❌🔥💔American Melting Pot = Problematic, less enlightened or morally inferior, repeatedly associated with loss of culture, forced assimilation, and potential social tension. Educational textbooks and teachers EXPLICITLY framed the American melting pot negatively by portraying it as an immigration system that erased heritage, forced conformity, and caused social tension, while the Canadian immigration mosaic was inclusive, flexible, and morally superior. Textbooks encouraged students to value the mosaic and view the melting pot as morally inferior, indirectly framing maintaining immigrant's cultures as virtuous. Conservative governments attempted to remove this moral virtue signalling.👇 Correlation Between Teaching and Government Ideology 🟥Liberal Governments (Pearson & Trudeau) * Strongest emphasis on the moral superiority of the mosaic. * Multiculturalism policy (1971) was explicitly linked to Canadian identity. * Schools were encouraged to teach that Canada’s approach to diversity is enlightened, contrasting it with the American melting pot. *This aligns with liberal ideals of inclusion, pluralism, and individual rights. 🔵Conservative Governments (Clark & Mulroney) * Less overt moral framing of mosaic vs. melting pot. * Focus more on practical multiculturalism (e.g., integration, bilingualism, economic contributions). *Curriculum changes were minor; the mosaic was still presented positively, but the emphasis on moral judgment versus U.S. was slightly muted.
