@c_donners @australian 3. There is hope the Abraham accords will expand and Iran will no longer be a threat. There could in fact be peace in the ME! And a chance the people will rise up against this evil and backward regime. Yes there are risks etc but the world put up with these evil maniacs 4 47 year

Rarely, if ever, has the US stumbled so swiftly to the brink of a disaster, and done so despite clear warnings of the risks involved. Read the full comment: bit.ly/414SdpJ

34 days ago, - Russian & Iranian oil was sanctioned. - Russia was selling sovereign gold reserves to stay afloat. - Iran was not in control of Strait of Hormuz. - US had operational bases in the Gulf. - F-35 was the ultimate Stealth Fighter which was untouchable. - Crude oil at $60 a barrel. - Inflation was declining. - The Middle Eastern Economies were thriving. - The world trade route was stable. As of Today, - Russia makes $600 Million a day. - Russia has restricted the sale of Gold and has started to accumulate Gold all over again. - Iran makes $185 Million a day - All American Airbases are hit and ballistic missiles radars are destroyed by Iran - F-35 and its carefully crafted stealth Persona is gone to the dust as it has been hit by mediocre Iranian Air-Defence Missiles. - Crude oil at $110 a barrel - Inflation sharply rising globally - The Middle Eastern Economies is perpetually in an Economic recession with economic losses standing at $175 Billion in just 34 days. - Global Economy racing towards a recession. Meanwhile, DJ Trump is making great progress, America is winning big. It’s all going in the right direction, to the left.

Trump should stop lying to the American People. ( not possible of course) The Iranian military still has capability and our ptroops have been put in harm’s way for a war he hasn’t justified to the American people or its Congress. He can’t be telling people here is nothing left of Iran’s military capabilities and we are now on search and rescue for our patriotic pilots. If you are in the Congress speak up: stop disgracing us with your cowardice.

@c_donners @australian They have destroyed their nuclear, navy, airforce and weapons production by a massive amount. Are you beliving media? Will take them many years to rebuild. Also still a chance people will rise up when told to do so.

@RichardAForsyth @JohnCleese Well said. I think he is of the view that while doing all these things, it's best to be polite as he does have nuclear weapons. Attacking many of Putin's allies is kind of a big deal. Compare that to Biden who callled him a killer before Ukraine war. Crazy!

Mr. Cleese, I’ve long admired your wit and clarity. But calling Trump a “Russian asset” doesn’t hold up under scrutiny. I'm no fan of Trump in general, but this sort of hyperbole undermines your substantial credibility, and it clouds meaningful dialogue. Consider that during his first term, the Trump administration: * Approved lethal Javelin missiles to Ukraine (something Obama declined to do) * Maintained and expanded sanctions on Russia * Expelled Russian diplomats and withdrew from the INF Treaty over Russian violations His current approach is transactional and focused on negotiation to end the bloodshed quickly, not unconditional support. Reasonable people can debate whether that’s wise or naïve, but it’s a policy disagreement—not evidence of him being a Kremlin asset. The Mueller investigation found no criminal conspiracy after years of scrutiny, and he was highly motivated and encouraged to do so. Strong language like “Russian asset” makes for good comedy, but it flattens a complex situation. Trump has been critical of Putin and has pressed for an end to the war. Isn’t that worth acknowledging? Disagreeing on strategy is fair. Accusing treason without evidence isn’t.

@TTR100 @Kasparov63 @TTR100, NO ONE of the *working class* in the United States is getting ANY positives from the choices made by Trump or his administration. Not even white men and women.

Early in Trump's first term, I suggested that his supporters make a list of things he could do that would cause them to withdraw their support. Otherwise, it's very difficult to overcome the dissonance that comes with a politician you adore betraying you & the goals you wanted.
Tom Nichols@RadioFreeTom

Amazing that the floor is still around 40 percent, which suggests that Trump voters are simply never going to admit how they feel to a pollster.

@Kasparov63 "it's very difficult to overcome the dissonance that comes with a politician you adore..." The central word here is "adore". ONLY racists, misogynists, and bigotry-generalists could ADORE Trump.
