I should add this method of lying, a cousin of the anti-vaxxer's anectode.
Take something rare but terrible (say MIS-C) or something studied as part of an illness (say immunopathology of Long Covid), and claim it is routine, applies regularly to all, etc.

@mykola @andrew_croxford Classic method that group *lies* is they take a study of X on very severe/fatal patients that finds Y—at that level of severity, many things are tragically possible. They tweet "I TOLD YOU I WAS RIGHT". Actual scientists know what the paper was about. Screenshot marks? Not so.

Reality: I expressed concern about Long Covid early 2021. Photoshopped version suggests otherwise.
Other academics objected in real time, no response then.

Watched ANDOR and still in disbelief Disney allowed a series so fiercely anti-cop, anti-prison industrial complex and so skeptical of government to actually get made. Gilroy made a series depicting how close space fascism is to our reality and I can't believe he got away with it.
