Now that the base PlayStation 5 #CrimsonDesert footage is out, it makes me wonder why Pearl Abyss waited for such a long time to release it. The game looks to be working fine and there are no glaring flaws either. The studio could have easily avoided all the harsh criticism if they had just released it a bit earlier. What are your thoughts?

PSSR 2 is rolling out today for PS5 Pro owners. Officially supported titles include: • Silent Hill f • Alan Wake 2, Control • FF7 Rebirth • Nioh 3 • Resident Evil Requiem • Crimson Desert • And more Also includes a new toggle that automatically updates all PSSR games.

@DetectiveSeeds @kutdownOngaming Pssr2 is heavier then 1. If it's still upscaling from the same reoslution pssr 2 will give LESS frames thats how upscalers work

For Crimson Desert, PSSR 2.0 will be implemented day 1 on the PS5 Pro. Any issues with frame dips shown during PSSR 1.0 should be fixed with this patch! Can’t speak to how this is going to run on Base PS5.
