This thread may be a little uncomfortable, but it’s factual and needed. Let’s discuss sex in policing in #Ontario. With the recent arrest of Off. Dave Hamilton for allegedly transmitting child porn (#HamOnt police) I think it important. I’ll start off with the cheating. It’s widespread, especially male senior officers with young female officers. Cheating isn’t frowned upon, it’s laughed about and celebrated. When one female cop, who’s now a Deputy Chief in London found out her cop husband was having sex with another cop, she called another female cop to complain. That cop (now an Inspector) put her on speaker phone for me to listen and sniggered the entire way through the conversation. Cops were caught bringing prostitutes into the station to work out in the gym. Cops were caught getting oral sex in back alleys by prostitutes. Cops were caught repeatedly having sex with victims of domestic violence. I even received a complaint about Niagara cops collecting women from the women’s shelter after work then returning them hours later. I recently received a complaint that members of @hamiltonpolice human trafficking team are currently sleeping with under aged trafficking victims. Who do I report that too? The cops? That would also track with the human trafficking Sgt who would have to resign for having sex with victims and sending ‘dick pics’ to social service workers. Then there’s the groomers. Cops who specifically target young girls, groom them from 15 - 18, and have sex with them when they turn 18. They pick them up in their sports cars, sometimes a taxpayer funded cruiser, drive them around, make them feel important. One used to video his first time then leave the recording in the locker room for other officers to watch. And they would watch. 🤷‍♂️ That one specialised in getting 18 year olds to “eat each other out” and video it. Sick, no? Off. Greg Mills was told he was under investigation for sex assault when he shot himself. Off. Ian Matthew’s had similar allegations, going as far as he inserted his gun into a females vagina, before too shot himself. And knowing what they knew the police service and union still memorialise these cops every year. Female cops have issues too. One used to sleep with every married man she could at the station. When she first got on we added each other on Facebook, as I had done with many other officers. Her first message read, “now you can wank over pictures of me in my bikini.” I blocked her and disclosed to the wife. No secrets right? The wife sent her a very choice message. One female brought a rather extensive dildo collection into Sunday school. And the sex abuse, harassment and assault female officers face who don’t behave this way is off the charts. Now it’s not all cops. But they are all aware. And remain silent. The females who are abused and speak up effectively end their careers. The problem is, as with the married Halton Superintendent who got caught having on duty sex in the HQ parking lot, it’s easier for senior managements to cover and conceal, rather than deal. I don’t think this can be fixed anymore. It’s far too broken.

@delorean00 @Rainmaker1973 No, it isn’t. This is an “America” problem. Most European countries offer 30 weeks of paid mat leave, with additional parental leave. In Canada, we get 12-18 months of paid maternity and parental leave. It’s wild how you treat women down there.

Sadly, this is a result of the feminist movement. Women should never have to return to work. They should have the ability to stay at home to raise their kids. But the mass influx of women entering the workforce in the 70s eventually caused wages to stagnate as prices rose across the board, forcing both parents to work.
