Rogers absolutely works for me as the Trossard replacement instead of Nico Williams I also like that we would have a marquee English signing. The best Arsenal teams have always had a strong English core surrounded by International talents

@oluok1 I think we should start with Kai and Martinelli, and finish with Gyok and Trossard. Kai is more likely to let us play well against us, and I prefer Gyok off the bench. Then Martinelli has to start as we need a runner

White out with Livramento would be brutal and would feel high risk, high reward. Keeping White but adding Acheampong feels low risk, high reward. Can keep White for one more year, develop Acheompong for a year who doesn’t have the same injury issues as Livramento.

For those asking about Josh Acheampong: This is the U20 player I watched most. Describing him is simple — a 1 of 1 defender. A total footballer and all-timer in my eyes. He makes no sense. Like Wembanyama. To be 6’4”, moving with such nimbleness whilst eating space at will, winger-like locomotion and a technical base your midfielders would envy. The kind of footballer Cruyff & Enrique now would smile at. He can dominate across the backline and your best forwards because his skillset and physicality just, adapts. Positional or transitional systems — it does not matter. Tactically invaluable for any team that dares to use him.​​​​​​​​​​​​​ *coughs*
