President @realDonaldTrump, If you WON the war, then you don't ask the LOSING side to negotiate. You dictate the SURRENDER terms and demand that they sign it. You can't at the same time declare that you WON and say that you want to "negotiate a fair deal".

@DrEliDavid @realDonaldTrump True, but... It's difficult to impose a total surrender without ground invasion - which is politically not viable in the US at present. Maintaining the blockade might be the best way to force the regime into surrender. Recall, we enforced a no fly zone for 12 yrs. in Iraq.

"I love the smell of the Mute button in the morning..." Boy, some very impassioned but very unhinged posters last night. Very appreciative of X's mute feature to reduce the noise from the signal on this platform. Hoping today returns to more respectful debate

The Trump administration has been very charitable in describing Pakistan’s mediation of the Iran war but the results don’t uphold the praise. I mean, the Iranian delegation didn’t even show. That’s not Pakistan’s fault but I wouldn’t say it’s doing a super mediating job either.

The most dishonest part is not the blockade. It is the performance of moral concern while describing economic strangulation in technocratic language. They want to choke ports, freeze flows, and tighten pressure— then pretend this is somehow being done “for the people.” No. This is power talking like ownership. And the more they try to dress it up as humanitarian duty, the more openly colonial it sound

As @POTUS has made clear, the United States Navy will continue the blockade of Iranian ports. In a matter of days, Kharg Island storage will be full and the fragile Iranian oil wells will be shut in. Constraining Iran’s maritime trade directly targets the regime’s primary revenue lifelines. The @USTreasury will continue to apply maximum pressure through Economic Fury to systematically degrade Tehran’s ability to generate, move, and repatriate funds. Any person or vessel facilitating these flows—through covert trade and finance—risks exposure to U.S. sanctions. We continue to freeze the funds stolen by the corrupt leadership on behalf of the people of Iran.

Why do people think a regime that can murder its own people for demonstrating wouldn’t also let their people starve. They don’t care about money like the West does. If they go broke they go broke, the issue is the world around them is much more financially fragile. We aren’t holding them hostage at the moment…it is the other way around.

Iran cancelling peace talks and claiming they won't abide by the ceasefire means Trump's blockade IS WORKING Iran will blink soon Let me explain why: Their onshore storage tanks will fill up in 4-8 weeks, meaning they will have shut down their wells and production. This risks permanent reservoir damage (water influx, paraffin buildup, pressure loss), making restart difficult, expensive, and potentially unable to reach prior output levels. I know you're all sick of me saying this, but the war is over and Trump is doing all he can to ensure Iran concede more in the negotiations. Military pressure failed to yield results, and instead resulted in catastrophic failure, so Trump's strategy now is economic pressure until Iran soften their stance The big question is: Will Trump blink first (the global economy NEEDS the Strait), or will Iran?

I hate to say “I told ya so,” but I did. For years. Now everyone’s eyes are open. What is it they say about the one eyed man..? So…Tucker’s latest idea of America First is:   Kamala is president. Iran has nuclear ballistic missiles. Russia dictates the global order.   He has never met a US adversary he won’t defend. Tucker is not loyal to anything but his bank account. And shame on the people giving him the engagement and views he needs to keep the grift going. For God’s sake stop pretending that “doing your own research” means regurgitating podcast bros and Tucker and Candace. This amazing American experiment only survives if the People want it to. Civic duty isn’t just participating, it is participating with thoughtful intention and critical thinking. I wont stop fighting. I’m glad so many others are finally awake and fighting alongside me now. But there are always first wave casualties, and I was one of them. So be it. Someone had to. Someone has to be the first to cross the beachhead. I will always rest easy knowing I fought back before it was popular.

Interesting US now extending the ceasefire for an indefinite length of time The blockade will continue, so the economic pressure on Iran is still being applied Some will see this as TACO Others will cheer restraint vs resumption of kinetic activity The key question here, IMO is: which party does time favor?

Look, I'm no expert. But maybe Tucker Carlson texting "I hate him passionately" about Trump should have been a tip-off that he was never pro-Trump.

@realOlianna @ericmetaxas Would you prefer a nuclear armed Iran? Is that something you would be comfortable with? This is the real world. Nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists are the highest risk scenario imaginable.

Charlie would NOT be defending Tucker on much. He wouldn’t defend on him on going after Trump to be removed, his cheering on Islam when Charlie found it incompatible with the West. He might say it’s a big tent for the R party but once Trump said he wasn’t part of MAGA, Charlie would have seriously wondered why he’d bother to let Tucker speak if he’s going to turn into a Democrat. Which he basically has.

Every critical commenter on this thread is completely ignoring that both Tucker and Candace have completely flip-flopped their stance on Israel, Trump, all of it since they were “friends” with Charlie. Why are you all assuming Charlie would just accept their complete transformation without at least concern but likely distance. Your logic fails and makes you look either foolish or disingenuous.
