Yesterday, May 5th, was Children's Day (#こどもの日), so I bought a #carp-shaped pie at #Yamazawa (@yamazawa_co_jp #ヤマザワ)🎶 So delicious😋 It reminded me of the carp streamers (#鯉のぼり) at #DemachiyanagiStation near #KyotoUniversity🎏💕 The reason we display carp streamers on Children's Day is because carp have strong vitality, able to survive even in clear streams and swamps, and it symbolizes the wish that children will grow up strong and healthy no matter what environment they are in😊 I will also continue to work hard so that I can become as tough as a carp✨

A good day in Nagoya as I passed the kendo 6-dan exam. It took me longer to pass than I wanted - 7 times - but I guess I got it when I was ready. My 1st goal is to be a good 6-dan. Then I’ll worry about 7-dan, which I’ll be eligible for in 6 years. 1/2

Everyone should go to Japan at least once (preferably early in life) just to understand what a highly functioning society can look like

I went to Korean No.1 Bar’s guest shit at Four Seasons Otemachi. These fancy cocktails were very nice and tasty!!! I really loved mini croissant 🥐 and “SOIL & SAND” cocktails🍸🍸 It was a great night!!
