@WithoutHistory It's not only the ANC that fought against apartheid. Ordinary citizens who remained in the country brought the apartheid government to its knees and this is the history which seems to be overlooked.

@cecild84 History should not be used to blackmail others. We didn't have millions of South Africans who went to exile. The few exiles were placed in the camps and their freedom restricted. The reason for exiles was apartheid and nothing else......

Go and find out how Black and poor offenders are treated in South Africa. Some of them dies in detention after being denied access to healthcare. This is the legacy of apartheid. To distract South Africans from this unjust system, they are told that black foreigners are their problem. It's sad.

Nobody forgets that. South Africans in other countries are there legally, with valid permits and visas to live and work. South Africa, on the other hand, often fails to enforce its own immigration laws, allowing anyone to live and work here without proper documentation.
