Marna kufaana marna dadka kale cay uga dhiga ciidanka Ethiopia 🤷♂️

Social media should be restricted in Somalia. What’s happening to the youth is concerning, a few are followings trends trying to appear modern, at the expense of their culture and modesty.

@islaanTooLate He was among those who took Addis Ababa alongside the Italians on Oct 1935. He wiped out many Shitopian contingents on his way to Victoria. May Allah rest his soul.

The “savior” of Somalia from Ethiopia is now asking the USA to save him from Ethiopia. Aduunyo gadoon.😭 If this shows anything, it shows Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is aware of the deal Hassan traded the entry of Egyptian troops into Somalia in exchange for allowing Ethiopia to occupy Baidoa. Now it seems there will be no Egyptian troops in Somalia. The only option left is begging the USA for protection. #Somalia #Ethiopia #Egypt #USA

History Is Not a Template Circulating stylized “birthday” graphics as historical evidence does a disservice to both scholarship and public understanding. Ethiopia’s historical record is neither obscure nor recent. It is one of the oldest continuous political and civilizational entities in Africa, with its own script, religious traditions, and state structures that long predate modern European nation-states. To suggest that Ethiopia “became” a nation in the mid-twentieth century reflects a misunderstanding of the difference between shifting political maps and enduring historical identity. Like all countries, Ethiopia’s territorial boundaries have expanded and contracted over time depending on political authority, a normal feature of state formation across the world. Geography is fluid; civilizational continuity is not. The terms “Ethiopia,” “Abyssinia,” and related historical labels have been used differently across periods by outsiders and scholars, but Ethiopians themselves have long maintained a distinct sense of identity rooted in language, culture, and historical memory. Conflating these external labels with the internal continuity of the Ethiopian state leads to analytical confusion. There is no need to diminish one history to elevate another. Ethiopia’s place in African and world history stands on its own, comparable in depth and continuity to other ancient civilizations. Serious discussion deserves sources, context, and care, not modern graphic templates that blur the line between commemoration and fabrication. @HISTORY @OrthodoxHistory @jeffpropulsion
