Last day in Bodega bay and after landing we were treated to a tour of the tides warf processing place and then were privileged enough to be allowed to sit in on meetings of the Dungeness crab working group & the ghost gear recovery group

Change of pace and scale today as our USA/Mexico bycatch and entanglement knowlage exchange takes us to Bodega bay San Francisco California. Depart at 4 am for a day at the dungeness crab fishery

last day in Mexico of our fisher knowledge exchange was spent with some fishermen at the fishing camp on Isla Espiritu Santo can't thank enough the team at Mexico marine wildlife rescue centre for being amazing guides & introducing us to so many small scale fishing communities

We spent a day with the Fishing community of Puerto Chale, about 80 small dories. To reduce the potential for conflicts when the Gray whales arrive to calf, many of the fishermen transition to catering for the plentiful tourists. Which also rests their fishing grounds. Win Win
