I love it when skilled professional people use normal language, & talk & listen in a down to earth way. No need to impress or use jargon or weird power play. Obvsly there's tons of experience in the background but in the moment it just feels like being with someone wise & caring.

What stood out to me was how the peer support patients enjoyed sharing their journey to fellow patients. The unknown and not knowing when a patient will start dialysis is the scariest time was event on the day. But so many went away with more knowledge and felt they weren't alone

Kidney Disease is tough. People can experience a range of emotions from stress & anxiety to depression. Some feel a loss of control, as they miss out on 'normal' life due to dialysis. Please help us expose the reality of #KidneyDisease 💛 #WorldMentalHealthDay #KidneysMatter
