George R.R. Martin says he’s behind on his book writing:
“I have to write more Dunk and Egg. There’s supposed to be another Fire and Blood book, too. I do think if I can just get some of these other things off my back, I could finish The Winds of Winter pretty soon. It’s been made clear to me that Winds is the priority, but … I don’t know. Sometimes I’m not in the mood for that.”

Tatiana Maslany makes fun of rumors that she quit playing She-Hulk in the #MCU:
“Disney has approached me to play She-Hulk again, guys, I said no. Because I just did. This is the facts, it’s out there … I was really mad at them … just woke feminists stuff.”

Knowing Ty Simpson had a bulging disc in his back from South Carolina on, and then gastritis/elbow bursitis/broken rib on top of that, I give Kalen DeBoer and Ryan Grubb a lot more grace for the offense at the end of the season.
Forget all the other injuries, forget the OL, forget the running game.
If Ty was healthy, I think that makes a big difference.
Ty said he couldn't throw further than 10 yards when he left the game vs. Indiana.
“DeBoer isn’t just taking over a program.
He’s taking over a legacy.
He’s filling the biggest GOAT-sized shoes in the history of college football. He’s stepping into a fanbase conditioned to championships and allergic to patience. And unlike 2007, he’s doing it in an era where the ground shifts daily.
Let’s talk about what DeBoer is actually dealing with, because too many fans refuse to acknowledge the full picture.
He’s trying to keep current players from being poached overnight.
He’s recruiting future players while competing with NIL deals that change by the hour.
He’s working to hold onto current commits who are being re-recruited every single day.
He’s trying to retain a coaching staff while assistants are constantly being targeted for other coaching positions.
He’s navigating the transfer portal, NIL, calendars, tampering, and public pressure, all at once.
Nick Saban didn’t have to do all of that.
That’s not a knock on Saban, at ALL. Instead, it’s a reality check for the times we’re living in.
College football has changed.
.....
So if you’re frustrated, that’s okay.
If you’re uneasy, that’s normal.
But don’t forget this:
You trusted Nick Saban before the trophies.
You trusted the process before the dynasty.
Now it’s time to do it again.
Trust Kalen DeBoer.
Trust the standard.
Trust Alabama football.
Because legends aren’t handed programs, they build them.”

In the last hour, Alabama has managed to:
- Lose out on the Cam Coleman sweepstakes to Texas
- Allow Hollywood Smothers to visit and flip to Texas
Would love to hear you guys’ thoughts!
I will be providing my take on the portal and everything that comes with it soon, so stay tuned
If the entire staff is showing that same sentiment- that Alabama is done settling for mediocrity on the roster- then this could be a very, very exciting portal cycle.
Alabama’s current quarterback room following the news of Ty Simpson declaring for the NFL Draft:
▫️Austin Mack (R-Jr.)
▫️Keelon Russell (R-Fr.)
▫️Jett Thomalla (Fr.)
▫️Tayden Kaawa (Fr.)
Who do you want to see as the Crimson Tide’s QB1 in 2026? 🤔
In 2025 - Alabama gave up
- 230 rushing yards to FSU
- 92 rushing yards to Wisconsin
- 227 rushing yards to UGA
- 135 rushing yards to Vanderbilt
- 163 rushing yards to Missouri
- 142 rushing yards to Tennessee
- 111 rushing yards to South Carolina
- 56 rushing yards to LSU
- 74 rushing yards to Oklahoma
- 152 rushing yards to Auburn
- 141 rushing yards to Georgia again
- 55 rushing yards to Oklahoma again
- 215 rushing yards to Indiana
Good or bad?
Alabama’s starting offensive line in 2025:
LT: Kadyn Proctor - likely turning pro
LG: Kam Dewberry - out of eligibility/NFL
C: Parker Brailsford - declared for NFL Draft
RG: Wilkin Formby - entered transfer portal
RT: Michael Carroll - expected to return
That leaves the Crimson Tide with one returning starter for next season.
Your thoughts? 🤔
@BussinWTB@mzenitz "waaaaa😭 the system is broken" no, the system is now allowing the players to act in the same capacity as the institutions who harbored & enabled the system to begin with.
