Your experience is a "walk in the park" compared to mine. Baggage broken worth 16k including a baby stroller, missing stuff and lied to by the staff into not providing PIR. All in one flight. @IndiGo6E @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI #indigosucks

People keep complaining about @IndiGo6E ground handling so here’s my experience today at Khajuraho airport. Three check in counters open & manned but two refuse to accept passengers. Every one is directed to one counter manned by a trainee. As I am checking in I ask the counter supervisor why the other counters won’t accept passengers. “They are only for fast forward.” Me: I thought there was no fast forward any longer! “It’s not on the site but we do have it” Me: What do you get in fast forward? “You get priority baggage handling and priority boarding.” Me: If I had known I would have taken it. “You can still take it.” I hand over my credit card. He swipes it. As the luggage is being tagged I notice there is. no Fast Forward tag and ask about it. “ We stopped doing priority baggage handling for Fast Forward. It only gives you priority check in. “ But I had already checked in. I wouldn’t have taken it if you hadn’t told me about priority baggage handling . “I never said priority baggage handling.” Yes you did . I heard you. “Okay at least you can board any time you like.” I ask for the manager. The supervisor insists he never said anything about baggage handling. Manager: “I will not accept that my staff are lying.” But you think I am lying? He shrugs. The sum of money is small & the issue is minor. But given how much we have heard about the culture of lying in @indigo , firing one gora scapegoat may not be enough. The rot has infected the culture

1000rs travel voucher for a broken stroller worth 12000rs and a broken luggage 4/5000rs. That's not an optimal solution, thats promoting sales. I would be an idiot to travel through that airline again if this matter is not resolved justifiably. @IndiGo6E @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI

Provided photo & video proof of baggage damage at the airport. Staff took pictures, wrote a number on my boarding pass that’s now switched off. No action since. Not a single aviation authority helped. What do @IndiGo6E @MoCA_GoI @AirSewaIndia @DGCAIndia actually do? #indigosucks

@IndiGo6E @IndiGo6E Yes, it was reported immediately on arrival. Your staff took photos of the damage and said the PIR would be conveyed over the phone. They wrote a number on my boarding pass to call, which is now switched off. I already have proof. @MoCA_GoI @AirSewaIndia @DGCAIndia

@IndiGo6E staff misled me into believing a PIR would be sent later. They staged photos of stolen items but avoided handing the PIR while I was overwhelmed carrying my child after they broke her stroller. Completely unacceptable. Will escalate @MoCA_GoI @DGCAIndia #PassengerRights

During the Rajya Sabha Question Hour today, Hon'ble Civil Aviation Minister Sh. Ram Mohan Naidu Ji highlighted the rapid growth of India’s civil aviation sector under the vision of Viksit Bharat. The Minister stated that India aims to develop 50 more airports in the next five years and 200 additional airports in the next 20 years, expanding the national network to about 350 airports.
