We rode the new Bus Rapid Transit line from South Downtown to Summerhill! The bus is really comfortable and the covered platforms are nice.
It arrives every 10 minutes & it's free to ride for now.
It's definitely in need of more traffic light priority. I assume that's coming.

@HowEPhil @SurplusCornbre1 Yeah I’m not sure what’s happening with 14th. I know GDOT is installing between the highway and north side but the original plans had it crossing over into midtown. Not sure if they broke that into a separate project or what.

IIRC, 10th NW also has a gap from NSD to Techwood, though 8th a decent alt & much of 10th NW a MUP.

Atlanta BeltLine about to have the “U” of the full “O” built out in just a couple months, which is GREAT.
Also past time for us to have more crosstown car-free projects teed up to move forward imminently. Same with new pocket parks from public ROW.
The BeltLine is not enough.

@SurplusCornbre1 @HowEPhil It’s being extended from Georgia tech to Brady right now I think! I believe soon the only missing section will be between Tech and Piedmont park in Midtown, but I believe the midtown CID is working to design a connection through midtown right now.

@HowEPhil Extending the 10th st bike lane all the way to Brady Ave in west Midtown would be an obvious win. Its already popular by Piedmont Park and is a street that needs a bike lane BECAUSE its too dangerous for most cyclists. Combine it with a lane on W Marietta to get to the westside

@Villgecrazylady I noticed last week that satellite view on Apple Maps doesn’t show the rubble in Gaza. I could find any. Very easy to find in Google Maps though. I had a feeling they’d be in bed with Israel somehow!

I literally had to go see this for myself. Sure enough. Apple Maps has removed almost every town in Lebanon from the map while keeping every podunk town in Israel and Syria clearly marked.
