@XantheClay I think, as others have said, a few days pain (some quite excruciating) and blurry vision is “normal”. I nursed my brother through it. He took off the dark glasses too soon though... Wishing you the best! X

Laser update: reading a bit again after nearly three days. The aftermath of lasek lasering really really hurts. Very little improvement in my vision, and as I can’t wear my spectacles effectively it’s much worse. Hoping for miraculous improvement in the next few days.

This was one of the great meals of my life. The Iftar menu at Honey & Smoke ⁦@Honeyandco⁩. A meal to break every fast with sheer plenty & joy. This was only the start of the starters. Creamy labneh with tiny pickled spring onions. Crunchy courgettes. Flat bread. Pickles.
