As long Kiir is the president save yourself the humiliation & don’t join his government. His government is musical chairs politics. J1 is a circuit & Kiir is the puppet-master.

🇳🇴🗳️ Today Norwegians elect a new Parliament. The balance of seats will decide the government, the Prime Minister, and the country’s direction. 🇸🇸 In #SouthSudan, elections in Dec 2026 are central to the Peace Agreement. Free, fair & inclusive polls are key to democracy.

Did you know Cornrows were used to help enslaved people escape slavery? They used cornrows to create maps to leave plantations. It’s most documented in Colombia where Benkos Bioho, came up with the idea to have women create maps & deliver messages through cornrows. A THREAD.

"No minerals will leave Botswana unprocessed" ~ Botswana President Duma Gideon Boko joins the wole campaign spreading across Africa. “No diamond will leave this country raw, all will be cut and polished here. No copper concentrate will be exported without local value addition,” he said. This comes at the backdrop of emerging campaign sweeping through Africa. Prior to this date, countries across the continent export minerals at raw value, earning meagre returns. However, some countries have started taking steps to nationalize their resources to benefit their citizens. Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger have already made bold statements and policies. Ghana is another example as the country has sacked many foreign corporations from its Gold market.
