@olsonplanner @StudentLoanAdv @JaredFenlason My wife was in PAYE due to recert this month, received the letter she’d owe 10-year std payment in April last week, logged in this week & payment due for April is set for the amnt she was paying on PAYE. Confusing but just something to monitor frequently until able to recertify.

@StudentLoanAdv @JaredFenlason Yeah, this is what I’m seeing too. A few of them are getting pigeonholed into this unique situation and at least one person I know has gotten kicked off of PAYE.

@SalikNazirMD @DrDamluji Agree! And it would have shown similar “statistically significant” ⬇️ in primary endpoint in my opinion if it had as many patients. Feel the same way about SGLT2s in HFpEF. Help with symptoms and hospitalizations, but look at death specifically and no ⬇️. Go with inexpensive med.

@DrDamluji Thank you for the summary. Excellent news for HF patients. My go to would still be spironolactone (inexpensive) based on TOPCAT-Americas (totally get that it’s a sub-group analysis). Unfortunately, cost remains a barrier to prescribe these expensive medications.

@PGPharmacist From the writer side I'm going to do the form AND upload a letter that is more personal & specific. I honestly have hated the PhORCAS form for years!

RPDs, with the new PhORCAS recommendation form including the option for reference writers to upload a LOR, what are you requiring/planning to REQUIRE your references to do?

@ashwil13 @CJohnsonRx @PGPharmacist As a letter writer, that was my initial thought and would hope programs not request them or at least be clear about expectations and requests for them. If you write letter for ~4-5 students all applying to ~10 programs, that’s about 50 UNIQUE letters on top of the form!
