THIS IS HORIFFIC Care home worker and sick peado David Jones, 53, has been jailed for 15 years after filming himself sexually abusing two elderly women with dementia, one completely non-verbal and the other lacking any capacity to consent. Jones repeatedly locked himself inside the vulnerable residents’ rooms at a Kent care home, carried out the attacks and recorded the footage on his phone for his own gratification. A horrified colleague walked in and caught him with his trousers down, triggering the police investigation that uncovered the full scale of his crimes, including indecent images of children. Families had raised repeated alarms about bruising, broken bones and sudden deterioration in their loved ones, but care home bosses dismissed the concerns as “just dementia.” Judge Simon James at Canterbury Crown Court described the offences as “about as abhorrent a breach of trust as it is possible to imagine.” Jones pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a person with a mental disorder impeding choice, sexual activity by a care worker, and possession of indecent images of children.
