@TheRajGiri Makes sense for both sides. WWE just isn’t interested in tag team wrestling. Can tell with how they approach it in NXT. Very few tag teams there and it’s been like that for a while

I'll admit that I was surprised to see the New Day get released, albeit by their own choosing instead of taking lower deals. But the outrage is weird. This seems like the best thing for them. They haven't been part of a hot feud in years. Their heel turn was awesome, but the creative for them after that totally sucked. And now they have a chance to be part of the biggest tag feud in years with the Bucks. Seems like a win-win

@secondraynold @TheDark_ViKing @BackupHangman They’re more likely to be used in AEW than TNA or WWE. AEW focuses on tag division, the others do not. WWE has gotten better at not holding onto talent that don’t wanna be there. AEW should do the same and wrestling would be better for it

If you’re a wrestler that gets offered big money in WWE, you have to be cognizant of the fact that unless you get over as a top talent and/or big merch seller, WWE is gonna try to get out of that deal as soon as possible. Main roster minimum is $350,000. If you’re like, a midcarder and they throw 500 bands at you, you’re getting that for a year bro. You’re gonna get whacked. Unless you find yourself a YEET.

What incentive do you, WWE fan, have to invest emotionally on any wrestler outside of Rhea, Roman, Punk and Cody. When you know their runs, regardless of how long they've been there, can end just like that. Do you believe that say, Asuka, will get a nice send-off?

WWE fans, I want to hear from you. Genuinely, with the direction WWE is going in, how can you get emotionally invested in the product when your favorites who are in active storylines can just be cut for no good reason?

Yep. It’s all a money game to these people. New Day were allegedly making a (DESERVED) 7 figures in yearly pay. Something that they earned after all the years they put in. This new ESPNTKOWWE sees it as two 40 year olds on a big contract that aren’t Roman/Punk level names and their trigger finger was itching.

This is one of AEW’s biggest issues right now, and it needs to change. Last week on Dynamite, Will Ospreay gets kidnapped by the Death Riders. Then this week, he’s suddenly training with them… with no explanation. A lot of people, myself included, were confused. Apparently, on Collision, they aired a backstage segment where Jon Moxley and the Death Riders offered to train Ospreay and unlock his hidden potential. He was given the choice to accept or deny it, and when he pushed the cameras away, it was implied he accepted. That’s a major story beat. Why isn’t that recapped on Dynamite? A 20–30 second package or even a clear commentary explanation fixes this. I get rewarding viewers who watch everything, but THIS is just lazy. If AEW wants to compete with WWE and be a strong weekly TV product, they need to do a better job recapping key story developments. People don’t have time to watch 4–5 hours of AEW every week, especially if they’re already watching 5–7 hours of WWE. They’ve got to be more considerate of that. Either air your important moments on the show everyone watches, or do a better job recapping them.
