@bendreyfuss I mean bond had a wife who was then murdered and they've reset to an origin story at least twice? The only real problem is the supporting cast (m/q etc) usually carries over but now there's explicit continuity in the Craig films so those roles will probably get recast

Capitol news desert: ~Half the states have nobody in the press corps watching their state delegations and asking tough questions in the hallway. It would take ~$10M/year to hire 50 top reporters, one for each state, plus editors, etc., and restore state coverage.

I don’t have a woke objection to celebrating Columbus, but I do think it shouldn’t be a federal holiday for the very simple reason that he has nothing to do with us and he was just some dumb Italian who didn’t even land on the continental US because he wasn’t smart enough.

@aysuna51188 @Lucas_Shaw But also disney famously flamed out when they last appointed a parks and merchandise guy to the job. It may be the money funnel but it isnt the one most sensitive to the day to day. Disney is still a media enterprise at it's heart, not an operational one.
