PPSD should notify current and former employees whose personal information may have been compromised about the security breach.

I hope the reportedly hacked emails surface sooner rather than later. Since PPSD\RIDE avoids paper trails & accountability, there are probably lots of incriminating emails on the dark web now that could have a more significant and lasting impact than stolen personal data.

CAO Paula Dillon demoted Math Supervisor Ruth Corley to an instructional coach and then fired her. Now, Ruth Corley has taken over Paula Dillon’s former role as CAO in Barrington. What a surprising turn of events!

Yes but when I’m getting a half a week’s groceries at another store for $80 and a few vegetables and cheese cost more than 25% of that, it’s time to rethink your prices. Glad I have other options in my area.

Congrats to Rachel Greenberg, who has been named @pvdschools’ 2024 #TeacherOfTheYear! Greenberg serves as a 1st grade #MLL classroom teacher at @R_L_Bailey. She is the K-2 Science Team Lead & recently served as the musical director for the school’s “Finding Nemo Jr.” play.

The Providence delegation of State Representatives will be meeting with RIDE leadership next week to discuss these decisions, ask questions, express concerns and hear other education related matters.

The @pvdschools Math Department has been the best part of 797 for the last few years. Supportive, knowledgeable, and organized. No communication about the reassignment has even been shared with the math coaches. Most found out on X.

They seemed to be the only place anyone was listening to the reality and asking questions of the administration. They have dismantled the math department and I hear the ELA department as well. Where does this end?

Clearly, the public wants and deserves to be actively engaged. The process and facilities MUST support this engagement. Change is required post haste. Hopefully, the public bodies will make the necessary change. @RIACLU
