I didn't say my word is gospel. That is just my projection. I personally wouldn't say it is a lock right now, but that is just my opinion. Certainly, a lot can change my opinion between now and the start of the season. If that is the case, then the depth of this team's frontcourt will be 😳

I'm hearing there may be potential LIU roster news brewing, and it could be known as early as this week. Rod Strickland, whose 60th birthday was this past weekend, and his staff have done quite an amazing job reloading, with just two players returning off of 24 wins and a tourney appearance. With what they've done thus far, they're likely already preseason NEC favorites once again. #LIUMBB #NECMBB

@NelCastNY @TheGenius4life My man, you are definitely the foremost authority on all things LIU. People can take what you say to the bank. However Matt Bewley is a for sure lock to start and Ryan Bewley is likely to start. I just saw them play. Matt is a top 10-15 talent in the country in the post.

If the Bewleys become eligible, LIU would be at 14 players, leaving only one roster spot left. Right now, I wouldn't project either Bewley as a starter. Tyrell Bowels projects as a lock starter at the 5 with Jahki Howard as a projected starter at the 4. My guess if they bring in someone for that final spot, it will likely be a development player, someone who is not going to see much playing time.

As of today, LIU is the clear-cut NEC favorites, but IF the Bewley brothers end up committing, LIU has got to be a preseason top-100 team. A lot of time has passed, but five offseasons ago, Ryan Bewley was a consensus top-20 prospect. #NECMBB
