This scene loves to preach “compassion” and “community,” yet the moment James Chen said “help a brother up,” you all turned on him too. That’s not compassion… that’s performance art. So let’s stop pretending the FGC is some thoughtful, self-aware group. It’s not. A large chunk of this scene isn’t book smart, isn’t street smart, and definitely isn’t consistent. What you are great at is selective outrage Olympic level, honestly. Fake rage You’ll rally behind causes when it’s trendy or when it benefits you. You’ll donate to people who probably shouldn’t be responsible and have zero personal responsibilities and accountability, let alone any class? Suddenly it’s crickets, and help for Art.. instead it’s roast him! You’ll throw money at failing events not out of generosity, but because it keeps your circle intact and your bullshit fake relevance alive. Let’s not confuse self-interest with charity. And let’s not rewrite history either. You ditched grassroots the second esports money showed up. Then when you realized the cost was losing control, suddenly it’s “we need to go back.” That’s not wisdom, that’s buyer’s remorse. And yeah… some of us called that a decade ago. As for Art… does he seem a little off lately? Maybe. But acting like he’s some rare case in a scene filled with questionable behavior, sketchy stories, and party habits is hilarious. Let’s not pretend now. At the end of the day, I’ve supported Art, I’ve said it directly to Dieminion, and I’ve said it to Art himself. That hasn’t changed.
