@FlyerTom23 He was perfectly situated going into the first turn after getting sawed off at the start. If Saez stays there, he’s 5 lengths in front of Renegade and Golden Tempo. Instead he continually advanced Commandment closer and closer to the hot pace. Such a shame!!!

Still very disappointed in the trip Commandment got. He should have been back there with Renegade and Golden Tempo. He got completely compromised being that close to the pace.

@peterock1975 @RealCGriff @BarstoolPhilly White sucked all season, Under 40% FG% and he was 9-26 in game 7. Plus Pritchard is a pretty good player only problem he's not as good as he thinks he is. Way too much dribbling

@JohnnyBets_KY I wouldn't compare him to Rich Strike. But going back to the last 10 Kentucky Derby winners, 6 of them never won another Grade 1 race. So Kentucky Derby winners are not necessarily Superstars

Golden Tempo will never win again at that level. Great race, great effort. But never getting 22,46 again in the US. This was Rich Strike 2.0

Commandment and Emerging Market both made premature moves in my opinion as I watch the replay back.

@ScottShap34 I didn't think Saez was the right jockey for him.

Might be an unpopular take, but I think Commandment while encountering trouble moved too early and would have finished better but not good enough to matter. Curious what others think were not financially impacted. It was not going to matter for me. I did not have this collapse.

Good segway to this question: why wouldn’t scratch time for AE’s to draw into the race be at 9:30 AM today? Why was it yesterday, when AE 24 had to scratch? He would have got in the race if scratch time was today.

@OutrunTheOdds Almost correct in Bob Baffert. He won it on 5/2/15 with American Pharoah. He was second on 5/2/09 with Pioneerofthe Nile (won by Mine That Bird). He won it on 5/2/98 with Real Quiet.

Anyway, I mean Eric Foster and Chip Woolley have trained Kentucky Derby winners. And Glatt has had a lot of success on a major circuit. But I would need more than 6-1 to bet

I am not @ThoroGraph expert like @chrisyogi937. But I do know how it works (lower the number/better). Although you have to work in form cycles & other data (just not plain number w/o context). Renegade ran a 1 last out (best career). But Wonder Dean ran a 1! So Happy ran a 0!

So Happy is 6-1 in early Kentucky Derby wagering. Wow. I didn't expect that, although I know it's early wagering and the board could look different on Saturday. Anyone with the TwinSpires app could view these odds. It's probably on the Derby website somewhere too.

I can't see why any Ragozin player would like Zany in the Oaks. No development from age two to three. Has not run back to her best two year old figure.

Approaching half-a-million dollars in the @kentuckyderby win pool, and Renegade is now the clear favorite at 9-to-2. So Happy is the second choice with Further Ado slightly the third choice over The Puma. Intrepido again the longest shot with Great White down to 56-to-1.
