To answer your question: does Mercor AI work in Nigeria? Yes; you can create an account and use the platform while living in Nigeria. The platform itself is accessible to Nigerians, and you can go through the registration and interview process normally. But here's the caveat. Getting consistent job opportunities while your account location is set to Nigeria can sometimes be difficult because many companies on the platform prioritize candidates from countries like: • US • Canada • UK • Some parts of Europe So it’s not necessarily that Nigerians cannot use Mercor. It’s more that the volume of opportunities available to Nigerian-based applicants can be smaller compared to applicants in those regions. Now, because of this, some people choose to collaborate with trusted friends or relatives living in countries like the US, Canada, or the UK. If you’re struggling to pass the interview: Download Cluely or LockedIn AI on your browser to help you do the mercor interview. Works 100%. Try it and thank me later.

I see a lot of people are complaining about not getting an offer after applying for jobs. Here's why and how to fix it. 1. Complete your assessments. Go to your Mercor profile Assessments. Complete every one that aligns with your field. This is what signals to companies that you're serious. Skipping them quietly buries your profile. 2. Set up and verify your payment method. Mercor won't match you with paid work if your payment isn't verified. Go set it up now, don't wait until you get an offer. If you're in Nigeria, Stripe works and it's straightforward: → Your email → Your phone number → Your regular bank account. That's all you need. 3. Fill out your availability. There's an availability section in your profile; most people leave it blank. Mercor uses it to match you with jobs that fit your schedule.

The Smart Answer: “I handle pressure by breaking situations into clear priorities and focusing on what I can control. In high-pressure moments, I organize tasks based on urgency and impact, and keep communication clear so expectations stay aligned. This helps me stay focused, maintain quality, and deliver results without becoming overwhelmed.”
