The tryhards of today are an entirely different breed to those back in the day. These tryhards today play like their life depends on it…because in many cases, it does. Unemployed mfers betting it all on chasing pipe dreams of becoming a streamer or pro.

@Xeratricky Agreed, but in order for this to change, guardians need to be significantly buffed, it's too easy to dive, even with heal minions being as strong as they are

Been talking about this since it got introduced. It's an interesting mechanic I guess since it's the first time I've experienced it in a MOBA but it just feels so wrong? If you manage to have a stacked wave pushing into the enemy tower, you're actually at a disadvantage since the enemy has multiple 14% missing HP heals on top of the flat I think 150 HP heal that scales throughout the game. It just feels weird to be punished for pushing my minion wave to the enemy

Remove heal minions from enemy troopers. in what world is fighting someone with 3 waves beneficial to the enemy cus he can just ignore you and heal back to full hp off the healer troops. Also makes laning low skill and forgiving

Ranking up in competitive videogames is not nearly as difficult as it’s often made to seem.
You don’t need to be a basement dweller who spents 18 hours queueing ranked.
You don’t need god gamer genetics to climb out of gold.
You need to be better.
As with basically everything in life, in order to be above average, you just need to be willing to do the things that average people do not.
Fortunately for you, we’re talking about ranked players. The bar cannot be lower.
90% of the improvement process up to a decent level comes from the 2 simplest to understand and easiest to apply aspects possible.
1 - Play somewhat consistently. Anything at or above 4 days a week, 2 hours a day is more than enough to get better.
2 - Make your playtime mean something. Quality over quantity, rage queueing on a 6 loss streak is how you reach a full red carpet match history.
Same goes for queueing up on 2 hours of sleep without eating or drinking. Your brain physically cannot work.
Once you’re at a decent level of quality, USE YOUR BRAIN. Ask yourself questions. What worked? What didn’t work? Why did/didn’t that work?
ACTIVELY THINK ABOUT THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE IN A GAME.
Boom, suddenly you begin consistently climbing!
Why?
Because you’re operating at the level of a sentient human, something that your random teammates in ranked are conceptually unable to accomplish.

I proposed to the nba that the worst team gets allocated cap room, for rookies only , in the amount equal to the 1st pick. Next to worst record, gets allocated the cap room for the 2nd pick, etc.
They would then have to convince the rookies they want, to come play for them. Much like they do with free agents when they have cap room.
In an NIL world , the best players already have made good money. They would go to teams they think puts them in the best position to succeed.
And it wouldn’t be perennial tankers, or poor organizations that they choose.
Tanking would get you the most rookie cap room. But you better have your act together if you want the best players
